Baemin Launches "Time Sale" with 18 Major Dining Brands
Pilot Launch in Seoul, Nationwide Expansion to Follow
Up to 12,000 Won Discount for First-Time Visits
Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, announced on April 1 that 18 popular dining franchise brands, including BBQ, Cheogajip Seasoned Chicken, Pizza Hut, and Yogurt World, will launch a limited-time 'Time Sale' event offering discount benefits.
The Time Sale is a new service that provides discounts of up to over 10,000 won per order for customers who place orders at certain times, either when using a store for the first time or returning after a long time. Starting this month, franchise brands specializing in popular delivery menus such as chicken, pizza, fast food, and jokbal in the Seoul area will begin a pilot operation of Time Sale on Baemin.
The participating brands include Mexicana, BBQ, Cheogajip Seasoned Chicken, Pizza Hut, No More Pizza, Pizza Alvolo, Burger King, KFC, Shake Shack, Isaac Toast, Mawang Jokbal, Dujjim, Hongkong Banjeom 0410, 6762, Paris Baguette, Selleria, Yoa Jeong, and Yogurt World.
The Time Sale for these brands will be automatically displayed to customers who meet the criteria. The discount benefits are available for 15 minutes and can be used at stores that customers are using for the first time or have not ordered from in the past three months. The discount conditions are as follows: 5,000 won off orders of 20,000 won or more; 8,000 won off orders of 30,000 won or more; and 12,000 won off orders of 40,000 won or more.
Through the Time Sale, customers are expected to discover and experience new stores they have not used before, along with the benefits provided. In particular, Time Sale information is displayed in a pop-up format from the main screen of the Baemin app, making it easy for users to check the available benefits.
From a partner perspective, Baemin expects the Time Sale to help not only attract new customers but also encourage dormant customers to revisit, thereby boosting sales. Participation is voluntary for partners, and the number of customers eligible for the Time Sale can be set daily within a designated range. Baemin plans to gradually expand the service to more regions in the future.
