Most Large-Cap Stocks on KOSDAQ Rise
On the 26th, the KOSPI opened below the 5,600 mark. The KOSDAQ started slightly higher.
As of 9:08 a.m. on this day, the KOSPI index was trading at 5,572.75, down 1.21% from the previous session. The previous day, the market had closed at 5,642.21, but has now fallen below the 5,600 mark.
Individual investors are net buyers of 703.6 billion won. Foreign investors have net sold 360.9 billion won, while institutional investors have net sold 311.6 billion won.
By sector, most are on a downward trend. Insurance (-2.75%), electrical and electronics (-2.28%), manufacturing (-1.70%), securities (-1.41%), electric and gas (-1.22%), distribution (-1.19%), construction (-1.75%), finance (-1.08%), and real estate (-1.02%) are all declining. However, some sectors such as pharmaceuticals (+1.13%), telecommunications (+0.17%), and metals (+0.28%) are rising.
The major large-cap stocks are showing mixed performances. Samsung Electronics (-2.80%), SK Hynix (-3.72%), Hyundai Motor (-1.60%), LG Energy Solution (-1.02%), SK Square (-3.97%), Doosan Enerbility (-0.49%), and Kia (-1.77%) have declined. Meanwhile, Samsung Biologics (+1.39%), Hanwha Aerospace (+0.43%), and KB Financial Group (+0.80%) have risen.
The KOSDAQ is currently trading at 1,162.08, up 0.22% from the previous session. Individual investors are net buyers of 273.2 billion won, while foreign investors and institutional investors are net sellers of 162.7 billion won and 90.5 billion won, respectively.
By sector, general services (+4.57%), pharmaceuticals (+2.48%), paper and wood (+1.22%), and telecommunications (+0.44%) are on the rise. However, machinery and equipment (-1.32%), electrical and electronics (-1.05%), construction (-1.05%), and distribution (-0.67%) are declining.
Most large-cap stocks on the KOSDAQ are rising. Samchundang Pharm (+4.04%), Alteogen (+10.18%), Ecopro (+0.07%), Ecopro BM (+1.23%), ABL Bio (+7.72%), Kolon TissueGene (+11.83%), LIG ChemBio (+4.68%), and Peptron (+1.26%) have gained. In contrast, Rainbow Robotics (-2.98%) and Leeno Industrial (-0.65%) have declined.
