Korea's Largest Sports Industry Exhibition 'SPOEX' Opens with 300 Domestic and International Companies Participating
The 2026 Seoul International Sports & Leisure Industry Show (SPOEX), jointly hosted by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation and the Korea International Trade Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, will be held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul from March 26 to 29.
SPOEX is the largest exhibition of its kind in Korea and one of the top three sports industry exhibitions in Asia, providing a comprehensive overview of the latest trends in the convergence of sports, technology, and industry. Approximately 300 domestic and international companies are participating in this year’s exhibition, and about 46,000 visitors are expected to attend.
This year’s event goes beyond simple displays and will be operated as an integrated platform where visitors can directly experience the latest technologies and trends in the sports industry and connect them to business opportunities. A wide variety of items will be showcased, including health and fitness equipment, sports goods, healthcare technologies, and underwater and water sports equipment. Sports services incorporating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI)-based exercise prescription systems and digital physical fitness measurement solutions will also be introduced.
At the AI+SPO-TECH special pavilion, visitors can experience innovative products and services that reflect global technology trends. The Pro Sports special pavilion will demonstrate the scalability and popularity of the sports industry through experience programs for each sport, such as soccer and baseball, and exhibition of league-related content. Former and current professional athletes in baseball, golf, and soccer will also conduct lessons for visitors.
In addition, a variety of programs will be held on the main stage of the exhibition hall, including bodybuilding competitions, fitness demonstrations, yoga and pilates classes, and K-pop and hip-hop dance contests, providing visitors with a wide range of attractions and hands-on experiences. The event will also feature a sports industry job fair, export consultation sessions, investment matching meetings, and an industry symposium to link business development with job creation and encompass the entire industrial ecosystem.
