[2026 Asset Disclosure] Constitutional Court Justices' Assets Revealed: Youngjun Oh Highest at 4.2 Billion Won, Bokhyeong Kim Lowest at 900 Million Won
Average Assets Total Around 2.29 Billion Won
The Constitutional Court justice with the largest amount of assets is Justice Youngjun Oh, who holds approximately 4.2 billion won. The average assets of the nine justices total around 2,435.9 million won.
The Government Public Officials Ethics Committee announced this on March 26 by releasing the 2026 regular public officials’ asset change disclosures in the official gazette.
Justice Youngjun Oh reported assets amounting to 4,194.88 million won. This represents an increase of 120.38 million won compared to the previous year, mainly due to salary savings. He owns an apartment in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, under his own name, valued at 1,542.57 million won. His mother also reported ownership of an apartment in Banpo-dong, currently valued at 1,212.02 million won.
The justice with the second-largest amount of assets is Justice Jeong Jeongmi, who reported 2,969.92 million won. She owns two apartments in Seo-gu and Jung-gu, Daejeon, and her assets increased by 204.12 million won compared to the previous year.
The third is Justice Jo Hanchang, with assets of 2,881.85 million won. Justice Jo owns an apartment in Geumho-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and his assets increased by 329.10 million won from the previous year, mainly due to settlement of retirement benefits from a law firm and salary savings.
Fourth is Justice Kim Hyungdoo, with 2,800.82 million won. He owns an apartment in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, valued at 984.40 million won. Due to an increase in his eldest son’s apartment deposit and other factors, his assets rose by 492.27 million won, the highest increase among all justices. The apartment in Sincheon-dong, Songpa-gu, held by his mother is currently valued at 1,934.00 million won.
Fifth is Justice Jeong Hyeongsik, who reported 2,502.82 million won. He owns five pieces of real estate in the Bundang-gu area of Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, including an apartment. Due to living expenses, his assets decreased by 15.03 million won compared to last year.
Sixth is Chief Justice Kim Sanghwan, with 2,191.66 million won. Real estate makes up a substantial portion of his assets, including a jointly owned apartment with his spouse in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, valued at 1,644.50 million won.
Seventh is Justice Jeong Gyesun, who owns 1,974.88 million won. He and his spouse each own a townhouse in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, and his assets increased by 206.84 million won compared to the previous year.
Eighth is Justice Ma Eunhyeok, who reported 1,532.44 million won. He owns farmland in Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi Province, and forest land in Goseong-gun, Gangwon Province.

Finally, Justice Kim Bokhyeong reported assets of 871.88 million won. His assets decreased by 12.03 million won from the previous year due to living expenses. He reported ownership of 22 Stellar Lumens (cryptocurrency), and the main asset is an apartment in Sangdo-dong under his spouse’s name.
