This program has been organized to support students in discovering creative ideas and exploring entrepreneurship as a career path in response to changes in the industrial environment, such as the rise of AI and IoT, by holding an entrepreneurship idea competition until April 3, 2026.

From March 17 to April 3, Changwon Special City is operating the “Visiting Idea League” for six specialized high schools in the city: Gyeongnam Tourism High School, Masan Technical High School, Changwon Mechanical Technical High School, Changwon Technical High School, Hanil Girls’ High School, and Gyeongnam Electronics High School. By visiting each school in person, the city offers special lectures on entrepreneurship, education on idea development, and training on preparing IR presentation materials. Two outstanding teams from each school are selected to receive mentoring support.

The twelve selected teams will then participate in the entrepreneurship idea competition on April 14, 2026, where excellent teams will be chosen through presentations and judging. On the day of the event, career and employment counseling sessions with corporate HR managers will also be held.

Jung Soonkil, Director of the Autonomous Administration Bureau, said, “Through this program, I hope that students at specialized high schools will recognize entrepreneurship as a new career option and develop creative problem-solving skills to adapt to industrial changes. We will continue to expand various career education programs linked to local industries through the Changwon Education Development Special District initiative.”
