A survey has found that the number of users of Daiso's online mall application (app), a fixed-price household goods specialty store, has exceeded 5 million for the first time.
WiseApp·Retail, a retail analysis service, announced on the 24th that the Daiso app's monthly active users (MAU) last month reached 5.16 million, the highest figure since the launch of its own app. This result is based on WiseApp·Retail's sample survey of smartphone users (Android + iOS) in Korea and represents a 42% increase compared to the same period last year, when it was 3.62 million.
According to WiseApp·Retail's sample survey of credit and debit card payments by Koreans, Daiso's estimated payment amount last month totaled 469.7 billion won, a 16% increase compared to the same month last year. The average payment per person was 20,478 won, up 5% from 19,450 won a year earlier, and the average number of payments per person was 2.0 times, an increase of 0.1 times.

WiseApp·Retail clarified that the estimated payment amount does not include payments made by wire transfer, cash transactions, or gift certificates, and that this figure differs from the actual sales of each individual company.
