HUFS G-RISE Signs Agreement to Foster Digital Marketing Talent
Strengthening Practical Education Cooperation Based on Corporate Demand
The G-RISE (Regional Innovation System & Education) Project Team at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the 19th at the third-floor conference room of Baeknyeon Hall, Global Campus of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, with companies partnered with the 'Digital Marketing Practice' course to foster practical digital marketing talents based on corporate demand.

View original imageThis agreement was established to build a practice-oriented educational system that reflects corporate needs, as well as to jointly operate education, practical training, and projects in order to systematically nurture digital marketing talents who can be immediately utilized in the industry.
In particular, the focus was placed on responding to the rapidly changing digital industry environment and actively incorporating field requirements into the educational curriculum.
The signing ceremony was attended by Lee Yoonseok, head of the G-RISE Project Team at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies; Seo Donggwang, CEO of Maeil Saeot Co., Ltd.; Kim Hyeonbae, CEO of BK Korea Co., Ltd.; Lim Junyoung, CEO of Brand Architects Co., Ltd.; and Han Seunghee, CEO of Hans From Co., Ltd., along with other key stakeholders, to discuss the direction of industry-academia cooperation and concrete action plans.
The participants shared the core practical skills required in the field of digital marketing and exchanged various opinions on how to effectively reflect these competencies in educational programs.
Under the agreement, each company will collaborate in a variety of areas, including ▲joint development and operation of curricula ▲implementation of field-oriented training and projects ▲cooperation linking internships and recruitment ▲and establishment of mentoring and expert networks.
In particular, the plan is to strengthen project execution and internships based on actual corporate assignments, thereby enhancing students' adaptability to practical work.

Lee Yoonseok, head of the G-RISE Project Team at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, stated, "We will actively support students in acquiring the job competencies required in the field through a practical digital marketing education model based on corporate demand," and added, "We will create tangible results by closely linking education and employment through strong cooperation with companies."
