National Busan Science Museum and BNK Busan Bank Continue Science Outreach Partnership for 10 Years
BNK Busan Bank Donates 50 Million Won to Support Transportation for Science Field Trips
BNK Busan Bank (headed by President Kim Seongju) has donated 50 million won to the National Busan Science Museum (directed by Song Samjong) to support science outreach activities.
The National Busan Science Museum announced on March 20 that BNK Busan Bank (President Kim Seongju) has been providing sponsorship funds for ten consecutive years to promote the spread of local science culture and to help close educational gaps.
At the delivery ceremony held at BNK Busan Bank's headquarters on the same day, Director Song Samjong, President Kim Seongju, and other officials attended and shared their commitment to collaborating on educational support for regions with limited access to science culture.

View original imageThe entire sponsorship fund will be used for the "Science Museum Education with BNK Busan Bank, Happy BUS Day" project. It will be allocated to cover transportation costs for students from remote island and mountain regions of Busan and Ulsan, as well as from education welfare priority investment areas, enabling them to participate in science museum field trips.
BNK Busan Bank has been continuously sponsoring the spread of science culture for ten years, starting in 2016. Last year, 3,371 students from 45 schools received support for 102 buses to visit the science museum.

Director Song Samjong stated, "We will continue our support so that young people in underserved areas can have greater opportunities for science education." President Kim Seongju emphasized, "We will provide continuous support so that local youth can prepare for the future through diverse science experiences."
