KB Asset Management Launches 'RISE ETF Ban.Ba.Ji.Ro' Campaign
KB Asset Management announced on March 20 that it is launching the 'Ban.Ba.Ji.Ro' campaign for its exchange-traded fund (ETF) brand 'RISE ETF,' focusing on the key growth sectors that are attracting attention from Korean investors this spring.
'Ban.Ba.Ji.Ro' is a newly coined term created by combining the first syllables of semiconductor (Ban), bio (Ba), secondary battery (Ji), and robot (Ro). It intuitively represents four major growth sectors that characterize the Korean stock market. The campaign delivers the message that, just as people switch to lighter clothing in spring, portfolios should also be restructured to focus on core growth stocks. The campaign visuals highlight RISE ETF’s youthful and dynamic image by featuring striking yellow shorts.
Through this campaign, KB Asset Management also introduced flagship products in the RISE ETF lineup corresponding to the Ban.Ba.Ji.Ro sectors. The RISE AI Semiconductor TOP10 ETF makes concentrated investments in leading Korean semiconductor companies, a core industry in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). The RISE Bio TOP10 Active ETF actively selects and manages high-growth bio companies. The RISE Secondary Battery TOP10 ETF invests across the entire value chain in response to the expanding electric vehicle market, while the RISE AI & Robot ETF offers broad exposure to companies related to intelligent robots and AI.
KB Asset Management also released a viral video for the 'Ban.Ba.Ji.Ro' campaign through the RISE ETF YouTube channel. In collaboration with comedian and popular YouTuber Lee Sunmin, the video humorously delivers the 'Ban.Ba.Ji.Ro' message by combining his signature performance of shadow-boxing with yellow shorts.
