TVING to Stream KBO Futures League Live... Launches 'Monday Baseball'
160 Out of 726 Games to Be Broadcast
On March 19, TVING announced that it will begin live streaming of the "2026 Mediheal KBO Futures League," which opens on March 20. TVING will broadcast approximately 160 out of the total 726 games. The opening game, featuring KT Wiz versus Samsung Lions, will take place on March 20 in Iksan, North Jeolla Province.
This year, TVING will expand its coverage to include Mondays, when no KBO first-team games are held, filling the viewing gap for baseball fans. The strategy is to satisfy fans' craving for baseball after weekend series by offering games featuring next-generation prospects.
A TVING representative stated, "Since the World Baseball Classic (WBC), there has been a clear trend of fans watching major baseball games on online platforms. We plan to continue the excitement by expanding diverse broadcasting content and viewer participation services."

Earlier this month, TVING achieved clear success with its broadcast of the World Baseball Classic (WBC), which concluded in early March. From March 2 to March 18, over 70% of all real-time viewers (UV) tuned in to WBC games. In particular, the match between Korea and Australia—which secured Korea's first quarterfinal appearance in 17 years—recorded the highest viewing figures, matching the level of last year's KBO League opening game. The "fandom broadcast" service, which allows viewers to interact in real time, also saw high participation rates.
