Samsung Seoul Hospital has organized an event in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic in the United States to discuss the latest clinical strategies using artificial intelligence (AI) for the treatment of atrial fibrillation and heart failure.

View original imageThe CardioVascular Center at Samsung Seoul Hospital announced on March 19 that it will hold the '2026 Samsung-Mayo Clinic HVSI Symposium' on April 4 in the main auditorium of its headquarters in Irwon-dong, Seoul.
This symposium is based on an integrated treatment model for cardiac, brain, and vascular diseases, and will gather global medical professionals to share the latest trends in diagnosis and treatment for related conditions. Distinguished international scholars, including Professor Paul Friedman from the Mayo Clinic, will also speak at the event.
The event will consist of four sessions. Key topics will include technologies that use AI for the early detection and prediction of atrial fibrillation, the latest electrophysiology-based analytical techniques, and stroke prevention strategies that take into account brain-heart interactions.
In the areas of heart failure and cardiomyopathy, next-generation approaches will also be introduced, such as AI diagnostic technologies that utilize electrocardiogram data.
