View original imageIksan City has resumed the operation of its bicycle rental stations to promote leisure activities among citizens and encourage the use of eco-friendly transportation.
Until November, free bicycle rental stations will be open on weekends and public holidays at Mangyeonggang River and Ungpo Gomgae Ferry.
In particular, Iksan City has relocated the Mangyeonggang Bicycle Rental Station to the Bicycle Culture Center next to the Mangyeonggang Culture Center, aiming to provide visitors to the Mangyeonggang River with a more convenient and safe experience.
Each of the Mangyeonggang and Ungpo Gomgae Ferry bicycle rental stations is equipped with 50 bicycles, for a total of 100. In addition to single bicycles, there are also tandem and children's bicycles available. The rental hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends and public holidays, and the service is free of charge.
An Iksan City official stated, "We have relocated and are operating the Mangyeonggang rental station to enhance accessibility and safety for users," adding, "We will continue to do our best in facility management so that citizens can use bicycles safely and conveniently."

Meanwhile, the Mangyeonggang Sasujeong (44 km) and Ungpo Gomgae Ferry (13 km) bicycle courses have become tourist attractions that draw visitors from across the country, thanks to their beautiful scenery and well-maintained cycling paths.
