Lee pledged to create a smart drone environment for air quality management and fine dust measurement, aiming to strengthen monitoring and conduct frequent air quality checks near the Changwon National Industrial Complex.
For monitoring illegal dumping, he stated that he would set up a smart drone system to monitor marine pollution and prevent dumping in Masan Bay, as well as to patrol habitual illegal dumping sites.
In terms of disaster response, he proposed utilizing drones for preemptive patrols in areas vulnerable to landslides during typhoons or heavy rainfall, regions at risk of river flooding, and for wildfire monitoring.
