Daegu's Sambo Motors and Sambo Pratek Donate Over 400 Million Won for Community Aid... Simultaneously Join 'Distinguished Donor Company'
Sambo Motors Co., Ltd. and Sambo Pratek Co., Ltd. have both joined the "Nanum Myungmun Enterprise" (Distinguished Donor Company), a group for corporate donors who contribute over 100 million won, thus participating in the spread of a culture of giving in the local community.
On March 16, the Daegu Community Chest of Korea (President Hongsik Shin) held a ceremony at the Secheon Plant of Sambo Motors Co., Ltd. in Dalseong-gun, Daegu, to mark the induction of Sambo Motors Co., Ltd. and Sambo Pratek Co., Ltd. as Nanum Myungmun Enterprises. The event was attended by Yugyeong Lee, President of Sambo Motors Co., Ltd. and Sambo Pratek Co., Ltd., Hongsik Shin, President of Daegu Community Chest of Korea, and Jaekyung Lee, Chairperson of the Citizens Participation Committee, who participated in the presentation of the Nanum Myungmun Enterprise certification plaques.

Sambo Motors Co., Ltd. has donated a total of 305 million won over the past five years, earning Silver status as a Nanum Myungmun Enterprise and becoming the 28th such company in Daegu (and the 692nd nationwide). Sambo Pratek Co., Ltd. has donated a total of 123 million won, earning Green status and becoming the 29th company in Daegu (and the 693rd nationwide) to receive this distinction.
Sambo Motors Co., Ltd. and Sambo Pratek Co., Ltd. are leading companies in Daegu that have grown alongside the development of the local industry, maintaining continued growth by securing domestic and international competitiveness in the automotive parts manufacturing sector.
The Sambo Motors Group has consistently engaged in philanthropic activities to coexist with the local community. Their ongoing initiatives include donations for wildfire disaster relief, low birthrate response funds, and contributions through the Social Contribution Council, all of which have helped support underprivileged groups in the community and spread a culture of giving.
In addition, Jaehah Lee, Chairman of Sambo Motors Group, is a member of the Daegu Honor Society (No. 151), setting an example for others by leading the way in personal high-value donations and promoting a culture of giving in the local community.
