Arts Organizations from Across the Nation to Gather in Yeosu
Recruiting 22 Local Government Performance Teams

The Organizing Committee for the 2026 Yeosu International Islands Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizing Committee") is recruiting arts performance groups from local governments to provide regionally distinctive attractions under the theme "Islands Connecting the Sea and the Future."
Eligible applicants include arts troupes from metropolitan and basic local governments nationwide, as well as teams recommended by local governments. Performances should be in any genre—such as Korean traditional music, dance, theater, musical, orchestra, or popular music—and last between 40 and 50 minutes.

View original imageThe Organizing Committee plans to recruit 22 teams, providing performance fees of approximately 3 million won per team. It will also support and promote all aspects of performance operations, including stage, lighting, sound, and staff.
Applications will be accepted until April 30, and can be submitted via official document or email. The Organizing Committee will coordinate with applicant local governments to schedule performances, which will be held from September 5 to November 4 on the Open Stage and at the Special Performance Hall at the main event venue.
