Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation’s Makerspace Specialized Lab Earns A Grade for Three Consecutive Years
UlaeCar, a specialized automotive tuning lab makerspace (a creative space specialized in automotive tuning) operated by the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, has received an A grade for the third consecutive year in the “2025 Makerspace Specialized Lab Annual Evaluation” hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
UlaeCar is a professional creative space designed to expand the foundation for employment and entrepreneurship in the automotive tuning field through specialized training and support for maker activities, with the goal of revitalizing the manufacturing startup ecosystem.
Equipped with manufacturing devices such as 3D printers and laser cutters, it serves as a space that supports manufacturing startups by offering education and prototype production, enabling makers to realize their ideas.

View original imageThis year as well, the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation will operate an all-in-one program that offers a one-stop solution covering both theory and hands-on practice across various tuning categories.
The foundation plans to provide in-depth instruction on core automotive tuning technologies, including wrapping (dress-up wrapping), PPF (paint protection film), and tinting, as well as the installation of safety sensors and the restoration of parts and materials.
The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is currently recruiting the first class of trainees until March 23. Applications can be submitted by visiting the Jobaba Apply website (apply.jobaba.net).
