Jeon Gwon, Daegu City Council Member, Announces Candidacy for Suseong District Chief: "I Will Pursue Field-Oriented Administration"
Jeon Gwon (53), a member of the Daegu City Council, has announced his candidacy for the head of Suseong District in Daegu.
Jeon stated, "I will officially declare my candidacy at the Daegu Metropolitan Party office of the People Power Party in Beomeo-dong, Suseong District, Daegu, at 2 p.m. on the 16th."
Through Facebook, Jeon said, "Having long pondered the development of our Suseong District, I am now seeking to bring about greater change by running for Suseong District Chief. Suseong District is the heart of Daegu and a source of pride for us all, but at this moment, what we need is not complacency, but a decisive leap toward the future."
Jeon added, "I will demonstrate a 'field-oriented administration' that incorporates voices from the ground into policy and brings real change to the lives of Suseong District residents."

Jeon previously served as the head of the Daegu branch of the Korean Youth Leaders Association and is currently serving his second term as a Daegu City Council member.
