Samsung SDI counts major European automakers such as BMW and Volkswagen as clients. The company is currently in discussions with Mercedes-Benz regarding the supply of electric vehicle batteries. The industry expects that, in addition to securing battery supply deals with Mercedes-Benz, further orders may have been discussed during this trip.
