GM Korea Launches Nationwide Chevrolet Service Network "Relay Training" Program
Relay Training Across Five Regions
Strengthening EV and Advanced Technology Competencies
Chevrolet announced on March 12 that it will officially launch its "Relay Training Program," which will be held across five regions nationwide. This program is designed to enhance maintenance technology and strengthen customer-facing services, with a focus on establishing an integrated training system based on General Motors' global standards at the field level.
The training will be conducted in two main areas: maintenance technology training and customer-facing personnel training. In particular, a "Mobile Tech Coaching" format will be introduced to deliver specialized training on EV systems and the latest global GM technologies directly to on-site technicians. Depending on their skill level, technicians will receive step-by-step professional training centered on powertrain and electronic systems, as well as foundational competency enhancement courses.
Operational training aimed at transforming the customer experience will also be offered in parallel. The global integrated guideline, "GM Difference," will be applied to establish a consistent guide for the entire service process, from reception to after-sales management. This guideline includes methods for service reception and response, key performance indicators for operations, and facility management regulations.
