This is the first visit by such a large delegation of SC Group executives to Korea in three years, since the SC Group Board of Directors meeting was held at the Seoul headquarters of SC First Bank in 2023. This reflects Korea’s status and role as one of SC Group’s strategic key markets, serving as a major gateway for trade and investment and as an essential hub in Asia.
During this visit, the SC Group management team in Korea engaged in a variety of internal and external activities to support SC First Bank’s business and communicate with employees, as well as to better understand Korean society. These activities included visiting major clients in the Korean market, meeting with next-generation leaders of SC First Bank, and touring the Apgujeong Private Banking Center.
Chairman Bill Winters stated, “Korea is a strategically important market within SC Group, and SC Group remains strongly committed to investing in the Korean market for long-term growth.” He added, “SC Group is dedicated to driving economic growth and firmly believes in the potential of the dynamic, innovative, and ever-evolving Korean market. We will provide unwavering support to our clients, businesses, and communities in Korea and work closely together going forward.”
