Samsung Heavy Industries announced on the 10th that it has received an order for three crude oil carriers from a Bermuda-based shipping company, with a contract value of KRW 400.1 billion.

Including this contract, Samsung Heavy Industries' cumulative order intake for this year stands at a total of 11 vessels, amounting to USD 2.1 billion (approximately KRW 3.0935 trillion). This represents about 15% of the company’s annual order target of USD 13.9 billion.
By vessel type, the orders consist of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers, two ethane carriers, two container ships, and four crude oil carriers.
