Concentrated Application Period Runs Throughout March
The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Shin Kyungho) will provide a "Multi-Child Enrollment Support Fund" to new students in 2026 who are among two or more children within Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, starting in March 2026.
The "Multi-Child Enrollment Support Fund" is a program promoted by the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education to reduce the financial burden on families with multiple children and to expand universal educational welfare. Applications can be submitted during the concentrated application period in March 2026 through the "Deojaram Card Application Site."
For children from families raising two or more children, new students entering elementary, middle, high, or special schools in 2026 will receive KRW 100,000 per person once a year in the form of a voucher card, which can be used to purchase items needed to prepare for educational activities.

Myeongbok Kim, Director of the Safety and Welfare Division, stated, "By providing the enrollment support fund to students from multi-child families, we are effectively alleviating the financial burden on parents for purchasing essential items such as clothing, bags, and school supplies."
