Incheon Airport Launches AI Idea Contest: "Discovering Creative Perspectives"

Incheon Airport is launching a nationwide communication initiative to establish innovative passenger services and safety management systems utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology. The goal is to transform into an 'AI-PORT' that leads the digital transformation by incorporating the public's ideas into actual airport operations.
According to Incheon International Airport Corporation, the 'Incheon Airport AI-PORT Nationwide Idea Contest' will be held for four weeks, from March 9 to April 3. This contest was designed to actively introduce AI technology and bring about changes that the public can truly experience.
The contest categories are divided into ▲passenger service and ▲AI utilization ideas for safety. Based on the participant group, it is divided into Session 1 for the general public and Session 2 for startups founded within the past 10 years. In particular, the startup session focuses on discovering practical business models using public data and supporting proof-of-concept efforts.
The submitted ideas will be evaluated by an expert panel, which will comprehensively assess public impact, necessity, and feasibility. In addition, the results of a public vote will be combined to select a total of nine outstanding entries. The selected ideas will be directly reflected in the corporation's future AI innovation strategy, contributing to the advancement of services.
