"Prioritize Busan Port"... Busan Port Authority Activates Emergency Task Force for Middle East Crisis
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Song Sangkeun) is activating an emergency response system to cope with the rapidly changing global shipping and logistics market following the outbreak of the Middle East crisis.
Busan Port Authority announced that starting from March 5, it will operate an "Emergency Response Task Force for the Middle East Crisis."
The task force is led by the Executive Vice President of Operations and consists of four teams: the General Control Team, the Trend Monitoring & Shipping Line Support Team, the Busan Port Operations Status Team, and the Administrative Support & External Communications Team.
The task force plans to swiftly detect and analyze trends among global shipping lines as well as the impacts on the shipping and logistics sector resulting from international developments, in order to proactively respond.
Busan Port Authority stated that if the situation becomes prolonged or worsens, leading to problems in the global supply chain, it will expand the task force accordingly to strengthen its response.
