Daewon Media to Host 'Ghibli Exhibition' in Jeju... "Fostering a Multi-Purpose Attraction"
Koriko Café and Totori Forest Connected
Immersive Installations Using Digital Media Introduced
DaeWon Media announced on March 4 that it will host the first-ever official Studio Ghibli original exhibition in Korea this summer in Jeju Island. Going beyond a simple viewing experience, the company aims to create a multi-purpose attraction where visitors can fully immerse themselves in the universe of Studio Ghibli. The exhibition will be seamlessly connected with the Koriko Café, themed after "Kiki's Delivery Service," and the official merchandise shop, Totori Forest, to further enhance the visitor experience.
Some of Studio Ghibli's major works will be presented as immersive installations, where digital media such as video and sound fill the entire space. Signature elements of Ghibli—including iconic locations, characters, and music—will be layered throughout the exhibition, inviting visitors to feel as if they have stepped directly into the world of the films.
