Gyeonggi Province to Certify "Good Companies" for Social Value Management... Applications Open Until March 31
Gyeonggi Province is seeking companies that have implemented social value management, such as eco-friendly management, fair trade, and social contribution activities, until March 31.
On March 4, the Gyeonggi Provincial Government announced its plan to select and certify 10 companies as "Gyeonggi Good Companies" this year, as part of its efforts to provide institutional support for corporate social responsibility management.
Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with their headquarters or factories located within the province that have been in business for at least three years. Companies that have contributed to the local community, made efforts to protect consumers, or implemented eco-friendly management practices to create social value are eligible to apply. Existing certified companies whose certification period has expired or is about to expire can also apply for recertification.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Government will present selected companies with a certificate and a plaque. It will also grant them the right to use the "Good Company" trademark. In addition, preferential treatment will be provided when applying for Gyeonggi Province's SME support programs. Incentives of up to 20 million won over three years will also be provided to support marketing, business development, and CSR activities.
Applications can be submitted online through the Gyeonggi Enterprise Secretary website (www.egbiz.or.kr).
