Fire Breaks Out in Seven-Story Building in Baekhyeon-dong, Seongnam... 76 Evacuated
At around 8:49 a.m. on February 28, a fire broke out in a seven-story building in Baekhyeon-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, and firefighting authorities are currently working to extinguish the blaze.
The building, which consists of three basement floors and seven above-ground floors, is reported to house clinics, retail stores, and offices. According to a report from a person on site, the fire started during exterior wall panel work. Firefighters, who responded to the report, guided 32 patients in the clinic to evacuate, while another 44 people evacuated on their own. The total number of evacuees is believed to be 76.
