Four first-round games to be shown on the big screen, starting with the Czech Republic game on the 5th of next month

On the 25th, CGV announced that it will broadcast live every game played by the Korean national team in the “2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC),” which opens next month.
The WBC is the largest international national-team baseball tournament in the world. From the 5th to the 18th of next month, twenty countries will compete for the title. The first round will be played in four groups, and the first- and second-place teams in each group will advance to the quarterfinals. Korea will face the Czech Republic, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia in Group C.
CGV will show the four first-round games of the national team held at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on large screens at major theaters nationwide. Starting with the game against the Czech Republic at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th of next month, it will then show the game against Japan at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th, the game against Taiwan at 12:00 p.m. on the 8th, and the game against Australia at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th. If the national team advances to the final round, CGV will additionally program all remaining games up to and including the championship game on its screens.
