Uijeongbu Community Welfare Council Holds First Regular Meeting of the Representative Council
Uijeongbu City in Gyeonggi Province held the "2026 First Regular Meeting of the Representative Council" of the Uijeongbu City Community Welfare Council at City Hall’s Hoeryong Hall on the 23rd, with 28 council members in attendance.

View original imageAt this meeting, two newly appointed replacement members were commissioned, and under the chairmanship of Co-chairperson from the private sector Yoon Yeonhee, the participants reviewed the implementation results of the 2025 annual execution plan under the 5th Community Welfare Plan (2023-2026.
Under the goal of "Uijeongbu of understanding and consideration that guarantees citizens' happiness," the council promoted 43 detailed projects through the 2025 annual execution plan to improve the quality of life of local residents.
Specifically, it secured the effectiveness of the plan by spreading the value of the Uijeongbu welfare brand "Care for All (Ui)"; responding to fiscal crises through public-private cooperation; establishing a sustainable welfare governance system by enhancing the quality of services; and supplementing the execution plan in response to changes in the local environment.
Co-chairperson from the private sector Yoon Yeonhee said, "It was a meaningful occasion to review past achievements and jointly discuss directions for improvement," adding, "I hope you will continue to play a pivotal role in your respective fields to enhance community welfare."

An official from the city said, "Last year, more than ever, the public and private sectors cooperated so that the community welfare plan could lead to changes that were felt on the ground, and as a result, we achieved excellent outcomes," adding, "We will continue to communicate closely for 'Care for All (Ui) Uijeongbu City' and pursue policies that citizens can truly feel."
