Fire at Eunma Apartment in Daechi-dong...1 Dead, 3 Injured
Fire on 8th Floor of Apartment, Fully Extinguished in About One Hour
At around 6:18 a.m. on the 24th, a fire broke out at Eunma Apartment in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. One person was killed and three others were injured in the incident.
Gangnam Fire Station, which was dispatched after receiving a report, mobilized 143 personnel and 41 pieces of equipment and completely extinguished the fire at around 7:36 a.m. The fire is reported to have started on the 8th floor of the apartment building.
A teenage girl was killed in the fire, and three injured people, who suffered burns or complained of breathing difficulties, were transported to nearby hospitals. All of the injured are reported to be in non-life-threatening condition.
