View original imageThis inauguration ceremony was held under the theme "We, VIDAK" and served as an occasion to share the association's new vision and future direction. Members of the association and figures from the design community attended the event to celebrate the launch of the 17th executive board.
The association plans, on the occasion of the launch of the 17th term, to build a future-oriented design ecosystem that both inherits its existing achievements and traditions and responds to the changing design environment. In particular, through the slogan "We, VIDAK," it emphasized solidarity and cooperation among members, as well as inclusive management of the association that embraces different generations and fields.
No Sangyong, a professor in the Department of Visual Design at Chungbuk National University, has taken office as the new president. Based on his experience in education, research, and the design field, President Noh is expected to lead the association's innovation and leap forward.
An official from the association said, "With this inauguration ceremony as a starting point, we plan to share a mid- to long-term strategy for Korean visual information design and to strengthen our activities so that design can have a more positive impact across society and industry as a whole."

Since its founding in 1994, the Korea Visual Information Design Association has, for 32 years, been active as a representative organization in the field of visual information design in Korea. The association has contributed to expanding the social role of design and enhancing industrial competitiveness, while also supporting exchange and growth among visual designers.
