Kim Yongtae on Yoon’s Sentence: “I Apologize to the People... Will Rebuild a National Conservative Party”
On the 19th, People Power Party lawmaker Kim Yongtae commented on the court’s sentencing of former President Yoon Sukyeol to life imprisonment, saying, “The significance of today’s ruling lies in the reconstruction of a national conservative party that can bring an end to the legacy of the martial law of December 3,” and adding, “I will devote myself to restoring the original values of conservatism and the path of national conservatism.”

Assemblyman Kim pointed out that former President Yoon’s December 3 martial law left behind the legacy of three things: a blind ‘Yoon Again’ faction, the current administration’s judicial abuse of power, and the indecisive leadership of conservative parties.
