Shinhan Bank announced on the 18th that it will establish a cooperation framework with Hyundai Engineering & Construction to promote productive finance.

View original imageIn this regard, Shinhan Bank signed a business agreement on the 13th at Hyundai Engineering & Construction's headquarters in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The signing ceremony was attended by Jung Sanghyuk, President of Shinhan Bank, and Lee Hanwoo, CEO of Hyundai Engineering & Construction.
With this agreement, the two companies will build a cooperative framework in which finance leads to investment and growth in the real economy and will jointly participate in expanding productive finance. As a first step, they decided to review together the optimal financial support measures tailored to the characteristics and funding needs of each project and to activate a practical cooperation system.
Specifically, under the agreement, Shinhan Bank will strengthen financial cooperation across the entire range of businesses promoted by Hyundai Engineering & Construction, including data centers, renewable energy, infrastructure and environment, and power brokerage transactions. The bank plans to provide funding through project-by-project financial advisory, financial arrangement, and investment linkage.
In particular, the two companies agreed to enhance information sharing and establish a cooperative framework during project implementation, and to work together on the development of financial products and customized financial solutions that fit the characteristics of each project.
