AhnLab’s Operating Profit Reaches 33.3 Billion Won in 2024...Up 20.2% From Previous Year
Sales of 267.7 Billion Won, Net Profit of 51.5 Billion Won
Higher Security Operations Demand Drives Operating Profit Growth
AhnLab announced in a regulatory filing on the 12th that its consolidated operating profit for last year was provisionally tallied at 33.3 billion won, up 20.2% from a year earlier.
On a consolidated basis, AhnLab posted provisional sales of 267.7 billion won and net profit of 51.5 billion won last year. On a separate basis, it recorded sales of 236.5 billion won, operating profit of 40.6 billion won, and net profit of 66.4 billion won.
Compared with the previous year, consolidated sales increased by 2.7% (7.1 billion won), and operating profit rose by 20.2% (5.6 billion won), respectively. Net profit grew by 59% (19.1 billion won). On a separate basis, sales increased by 1.5% (3.5 billion won), operating profit by 13% (4.7 billion won), and net profit by 48.8% (21.8 billion won).
AhnLab explained that last year’s performance was driven by overall growth across its solution and service segments, and that the increasing complexity and sophistication of security threats expanded demand for security operations centered on EDR and MDR, which in turn led to growth in sales and operating profit.

The company also achieved results in its overseas business. AhnLab stated, “Rakeen, our joint venture in Saudi Arabia, launched major products in the second half of the year, and network product lines such as the ZTNA-based next-generation firewall ‘Rakeen NGFW’ and the next-generation network intrusion prevention solution ‘Rakeen IPS’ posted meaningful sales performance, contributing to an increase in the proportion of overseas sales.”
