Daejeon Agricultural Technology Center to Supply 150 Tons of Agricultural Microorganisms Free of Charge Year-Round
Any Daejeon Citizen Can Apply...Supply Begins on February 12
The Daejeon Agricultural Technology Center will supply 150 tons of agricultural microorganisms free of charge throughout the year, starting on February 12.
Any citizen whose address is registered in Daejeon is eligible to apply, and the agricultural microorganisms supplied are complex strains (for crops and household use), as well as lactic acid bacteria and yeast strains (for livestock use).
The supply schedule is as follows: complex strains (for crops and household use) are provided every Tuesday and Thursday, while lactic acid bacteria and yeast strains (for livestock use) are provided only on Tuesdays. The supply hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Applicants must bring an ID card that verifies they are citizens of Daejeon and a container to hold the microorganisms when visiting the Agricultural Technology Center. Farmers who present one of the following documents — farmland ledger, certificate of registration as an agricultural management entity, or lease contract — may apply for up to 196 liters per month, depending on the scale of their farming operations.
