APR Surpasses 1 Trillion Won in Cosmetics Sales Last Year...Posts Record-High 300 Billion Won in Operating Profit
Record-High Results for Both Full-Year and Quarterly Performance in 2025
Overseas Annual Sales Top 1 Trillion Won...United States and Japan Post Record Results Together
Global beauty company APR achieved record-high sales and operating profit in 2025, marking its 11th consecutive year of growth since its founding.
APR announced on the 4th that, on a consolidated basis, its preliminary annual figures for 2025 came to sales of 1.5273 trillion won and operating profit of 365.4 billion won. This represents an increase of 111% in sales and 198% in operating profit compared to the previous year, setting a new all-time high. By achieving both top-line growth and improved profitability, the company extended its growth streak to 11 consecutive years since its establishment, while an operating margin of 24% demonstrated solid profitability.
The fourth quarter of 2025 also reached an all-time high. Consolidated sales for the fourth quarter came in at 547.6 billion won, the highest quarterly result in the company’s history. Operating profit was 130.1 billion won, up 228% from the same period a year earlier. In particular, overseas sales in the quarter reached 474.6 billion won, growing 203% year-on-year, and their share of total sales expanded to 87%, driving top-line growth centered on overseas markets.
Growth in the cosmetics segment was especially notable. The cosmetics segment, supported by an expanded portfolio of bestsellers, posted fourth-quarter sales of 412.8 billion won, recording a high growth rate of 255% compared to the same period of the previous year. As brand awareness of Medicube rapidly spread in key markets such as the United States and Japan and demand expanded, annual cosmetics sales reached 1 trillion won, securing a foundation for sustainable growth.
The beauty device segment also maintained stable growth, with fourth-quarter sales of 122.9 billion won and annual sales of 407 billion won, driven by a strategy of diversifying global sales regions and distribution channels. In the fourth quarter, the company actively targeted premium home beauty demand by launching new products such as “High Focus Shot Plus” and “Booster V Roller,” and it strengthened its competitiveness in the global market by expanding its product portfolio.
Growth continued across overseas markets as well. In 2025, total overseas sales reached 1.2258 trillion won, up 207% from the previous year, while the share of sales generated overseas expanded significantly from 55% to 80%. With simultaneous growth in both online and offline channels, the company achieved record results in major markets such as the United States and Japan, and delivered solid performance in Europe and other regions, sustaining its growth trajectory across the globe.
APR plans to maintain its growth momentum this year by continuing its global expansion strategy centered on cosmetics and beauty devices. The company intends to consistently launch new cosmetics and beauty device products aligned with global trends and demand, while enhancing its current competitiveness across global markets by strengthening both online and offline channels.
