Jeongeup City to Offer Up to 500,000 Won in Moving Expenses for Newly Arrived Youth... Applications Open from the 28th
Jeongeup City is launching the "Moving Expenses Support Program for Newly Arrived Youth," which provides up to 500,000 won per person to ease the initial economic burden of housing settlement for young people relocating to Jeongeup from other cities, counties, or districts.
This program is a youth housing support initiative funded by the Youth Development Fund. It is designed to help young people settle stably in the region by reimbursing actual expenses incurred during the moving process for those who have relocated to Jeongeup.
The support covers essential expenses incurred during the move, including real estate brokerage fees, moving service costs, and move-in cleaning fees. The reimbursement is limited to the actual amount spent, up to a maximum of 500,000 won per person.
Eligible applicants are heads of households aged between 18 and 45 who have moved to Jeongeup and completed their resident registration after July 1, 2025. The applicant must be the contracting party on the lease or purchase agreement. Regardless of home ownership, applicants whose health insurance premium notice amount is at or below 150% of the median income standard may apply.
Applications can be submitted from January 28 at the administrative welfare centers in each town, township, or neighborhood corresponding to the applicant's address. Notably, even if the move was completed after July 1, 2025, applicants may retroactively apply for reimbursement of past expenses by submitting the relevant supporting documents.
Detailed information, including required documents and specific eligibility criteria, can be found in the announcement posted on the Jeongeup City official website.
