The awards ceremony was held on December 19 at the headquarters of the Financial Supervisory Service in Yeouido. The event was attended by Kim Byungchil, Deputy Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service, Ko Jaeduk, Vice President of Gwangju Bank, and officials from various financial institutions.
Gwangju Bank was the only regional bank selected in the "Self-Employed Management Consulting" category. This achievement is attributed to the bank’s ongoing commitment and support for small business owners.
The main factor behind the award was the "One-Stop Comprehensive Financial Consulting" service provided by the Gwangju Bank Inclusive Finance Center, which was established in November 2019. The center actively supports small business owners by hiring professional consultants, offering tailored consultations, providing financial solutions suited to each client’s circumstances, and proposing a variety of management consulting services to help improve business environments and increase sales.
In particular, the Inclusive Finance Center focuses on "business restructuring through self-employed management consulting" and "special inclusive finance loans for low-credit borrowers," helping to ease the financial burdens of many small business owners operating under challenging economic conditions.
