Pyeongtaek City Named Top Institution in Provincial Transportation Evaluation
Ranked First Among Eight Cities in Population Group B
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on December 22 that it has been selected as the top institution in this year's municipal transportation evaluation conducted by Gyeonggi Province.
This evaluation system is designed to identify and promote outstanding transportation policies in each city and county. It was conducted based on the achievements of all 31 cities and counties in the province throughout 2024.
The evaluation divided the municipalities into four groups according to population size and assessed a total of 31 indicators across five categories: general transportation, transportation safety, taxi administration, public transportation, and transportation information.
Pyeongtaek City ranked first among the eight cities and counties in Group B, which includes those with populations between 330,000 and 670,000, earning the distinction of top institution.
