K-OTC Market Newly Designates Four Companies: DBL, Woosung IB, K Shipbuilding, and Hwira Photonics
The Korea Financial Investment Association announced on December 19 that four companies-DBL Co., Ltd., Woosung IB Co., Ltd., K Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., and Hwira Photonics Co., Ltd.-have been newly designated for the K-OTC market as of December 19 and will begin trading on December 23.
DBL specializes in the production and supply of laboratory animals and related breeding equipment, and provides construction and consulting services for bio facilities based on its expertise in laboratory animals.
Woosung IB manufactures inflatable boats for water leisure and safety equipment, and exports its products to over 60 countries worldwide under its own brand ZEBEC, which means "sailing ship floating on the Mediterranean."
K Shipbuilding is a leading mid-sized shipbuilder with a proven track record of successfully constructing and delivering over 700 vessels, including petrochemical product carriers, container ships, LNG carriers, and LNG bunkering vessels.
Hwira Photonics specializes in the production of passive optical components such as planar lightwave circuit (PLC)-based optical splitters and arrayed waveguide gratings (AWG), supplying essential core parts for high-speed optical communications and data center construction both domestically and internationally.
The Korea Financial Investment Association designates companies that meet financial and other requirements among corporations that disclose their annual business reports as eligible for trading on the K-OTC market. With this designation, the total number of companies tradable on the K-OTC market has increased to 127.

Newly designated companies will be available for trading via securities firms' HTS starting December 23. On the first trading day, shares can be traded within a range of 30% to 500% of their per-share net asset value. Thereafter, the daily price limit will be ±30% of the previous day's weighted average price.
