Financial Services Commission Grants Final Approval for Short-Term Notes Issuance to Hana and Shinhan Investment Corp.
Hana Securities and Shinhan Investment Corp. have been officially designated as comprehensive financial investment business entities authorized to handle short-term notes issuance.
The Financial Services Commission announced on the afternoon of December 17 that, at its 22nd regular meeting, it reviewed and approved the designation of Hana Securities and Shinhan Investment Corp. as comprehensive financial investment business entities with capital of at least 4 trillion won, as well as their approval for short-term financial business operations.

With this additional designation, the number of comprehensive financial investment business entities authorized to issue short-term notes has expanded to a total of seven, now including Korea Investment & Securities, NH Investment & Securities, KB Securities, Mirae Asset Securities, and Kiwoom Securities. This expansion is expected to help meet the diverse funding needs of companies, including the supply of venture capital.
