Exhibition and Sharing of Activities from 25 Towns and Districts
On December 13, Gumi City, North Gyeongsang Province, held the "2nd Gumi City Resident Autonomy Achievement Sharing Meeting" in the main conference hall on the third floor of GumiCo, with over 500 citizens and resident autonomy committee members from 25 towns and districts in attendance.
This event was organized to share the results of resident autonomy activities and to discuss future directions for development.
The program began with on-site communication capacity-building training, followed by performances by students from resident autonomy center programs such as ocarina and line dance, a screening of an achievement video, presentations of outstanding cases, commendations for distinguished contributors, and an exhibition tour.

View original imageIn particular, the presentations of outstanding cases from Seonsan-eup, Okseong-myeon, Songjeong-dong, and Sinpyeong 2-dong drew significant attention as they introduced a variety of resident-led projects reflecting the unique characteristics of each region.
The presenters shared the trial and error experienced during project implementation, methods for encouraging participation, and operational know-how, which resonated with the attendees.
The exhibition space featured materials from the resident autonomy committees of 25 towns and districts, resident participation publications, and works from resident autonomy programs such as ceramics and textile crafts, allowing visitors to appreciate the achievements of resident activities at a glance.
