Six Leading Education Support Offices Participate: Goyang, Guri-Namyangju, Bucheon, Anyang-Gwacheon, Yongin, and Icheon
On December 11, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Taehee) held the "2025 Regional Education Cooperation Specialized Model R&D Leading Education Support Office Final Report Meeting" at the main auditorium of the Southern Office, where it shared the achievements of the specialized model and strategies for its practical implementation.

View original imageThe event was attended by more than 200 participants, including teachers from kindergartens, elementary, middle, and high schools in the province, officials from leading education support offices, related organizations, local governments, and school staff.
The specialized model is designed to address local educational issues and respond to future societal changes by reflecting student characteristics and educational conditions based on regional education cooperation. Six leading education support offices-Goyang, Guri-Namyangju, Bucheon, Anyang-Gwacheon, Yongin, and Icheon-along with expert researchers, participated in joint research and development.
The main research and development topics for each leading education support office were as follows: ▲ (Yongin) Small-scale secondary school hub-type shared school ▲ (Bucheon) "With Us Shared School" supporting school adaptation for students with migrant backgrounds ▲ (Anyang-Gwacheon) Regional education cooperation linked with local governments and organizations ▲ (Goyang) "Neulbom-ae-da-it-da" program connected to the Neulbom policy ▲ (Guri-Namyangju) "G-FIT Shared School," an international exchange program based on local characteristics ▲ (Icheon) "Nobel Science Shared School," a program linked with universities and companies. At the report meeting, pilot programs and achievements of the specialized model were presented.
