View original imageThe donation ceremony was held at 2:00 p.m. on December 10 in the mayor's office, attended by Kim Dowoong, Director of the Economic, Culture and Sports Bureau; Jeong Misun, Head of the Local Economy Division; Yeom Il-yeol, Director of the Social Economy Support Center; Choi Hwaja, President of the Social Economy Council; Lee Jeongju, Director of the Volunteer Center; Jeon Sugyeong, Secretary General, and a total of 11 related officials.
The 3.63 million won donated this time was raised through voluntary contributions from social economy enterprises and participating citizens during the operation of this year's Giver Market. The proceeds have been designated for the Yangju Volunteer Center and will be used to support projects for vulnerable groups in the region.
Director Yeom Il-yeol stated, "The Giver Market is establishing itself as a meaningful platform that connects the local community and social economy organizations," adding, "We will continue to cooperate to ensure that sharing activities can be sustained in the future."
