Forum on the Closure of Wonju's Prostitution District: "A New Goal, One Direction" to Be Held
A forum to assess the efforts of civic society and the city government to close the prostitution district in Wonju, Gangwon Province, and to explore future directions, will be held at the Wonju City Council.

Under the theme "A New Goal, One Direction," the forum is jointly organized by the Pan-Civic Coalition for the Eradication of Prostitution and the Closure of the Prostitution District and the Wonju Domestic and Sexual Violence Counseling Center. It will review the activities of the Pan-Civic Coalition for the Eradication of Prostitution and the Closure of the Prostitution District throughout 2025, as well as the current status of the city government's policy initiatives to close the prostitution district. The event will include discussions among panelists to evaluate the closure efforts in Wonju and to discuss future directions.
