Buan County Recruiting Participants for "Physical Activity Program"
Registration Begins December 15

The Buan County Health Living Support Center in North Jeolla Province will begin recruiting participants for its "First Half of Next Year Physical Activity Program" starting December 15.
According to the county on December 10, this recruitment drive aims to promote a culture of healthy living among residents and expand opportunities for local citizens to participate in physical activities.

View original imageIn the first half of next year, the center will operate seven physical activity programs, including four sessions in the fitness training room, as well as line dance, yoga, and jumping. All programs are offered free of charge.
The recruitment target is 195 people. From December 15 to 16, priority will be given to new users who have not participated in 2025, and from December 17 to 26, registration will be open to all adults residing in Buan County on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications can only be submitted in person at the Health Living Support Center.
A county official stated, "The center is continuously expanding a variety of physical activity programs that are easily accessible to residents," and added, "Next year, we will further strengthen practical support for resident-centered health promotion."

Meanwhile, since its opening in April last year, the center has seen a steady increase in users and has established itself as a key local health promotion facility. In fact, over the course of this year, approximately 12,000 people participated in programs during both the first and second halves of the year, reflecting strong community interest.
