Police Conduct Second Consecutive Search and Seizure at Coupang Over Customer Data Leak
The police have launched a second consecutive day of compulsory investigations into Coupang, following the leak of personal information belonging to 33.7 million customers.
The Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that at around 11:15 a.m. on December 10, 2025, an investigation team arrived at Coupang's headquarters in Songpa-gu, Seoul, to conduct an additional search and seizure.
The previous day, the police also carried out a search and seizure at Coupang's headquarters for approximately 10 hours, during which they secured digital evidence and other materials.

Based on the materials obtained through the search and seizure, the police plan to comprehensively determine the route and cause of the personal information leak.
