[Click e-Stock] "RFHIC Expected to Post Record-High Results in Q4"
On December 10, Hana Securities projected that RFHIC would achieve its highest-ever quarterly results in the fourth quarter of this year. The company maintained its "Buy" investment rating and a target price of 40,000 won.
Kim Hongsik, a researcher at Hana Securities, estimated that RFHIC would post consolidated sales of 55.6 billion won and operating profit of 10.3 billion won in the fourth quarter of this year. These figures represent increases of 44% and 312%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
Kim noted, "Considering that these estimates reflect incentive payments, the results are impressive," adding, "The improved performance is attributable to increased sales in the headquarters' telecommunications and defense sectors during the seasonal peak." He further stated, "The performance of the subsidiary RF Materials is also expected to improve significantly," and added, "All business segments are performing well."
He emphasized, "The outlook for next year is even brighter," and highlighted, "Sales to Samsung Electronics are expected to increase following the U.S. frequency auction."
Kim also commented, "Sales in the headquarters' defense sector have been steadily increasing," and predicted, "Sales to Lumentum by RF Materials are expected to double compared to this year, which is a positive factor." He estimated, "Next year, RFHIC is expected to achieve consolidated sales of 204.5 billion won and operating profit of 34.9 billion won," and projected that "operating profit will increase by 18% compared to this year's forecast."
