Joonwoo Lim, Vice President of Industry-Academia Cooperation at Gyeongnam Information University, received the Busan Mayor's Award in recognition of his contributions to fostering venture companies.
On December 9, Gyeongnam Information University announced that Vice President Joonwoo Lim was honored with the Venture Business Promotion Merit Award at the "2025 Busan Venture Entrepreneurs' Day" event.
Vice President Lim, who also serves as the head of the university's Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation, was recognized for his leadership in overall industry-academia cooperation, supporting the growth of local venture companies, strengthening industry-academia collaboration, and revitalizing the technology startup ecosystem, thereby contributing to the creation of a regionally based innovation ecosystem.
