All Recruitment Information at a Glance... "Gyeongbuk Education Personnel Recruitment System" to Launch Full-Scale Operation in February Next Year
The Gyeongbuk Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jong-sik) announced on the 9th that it will establish and officially launch a system tentatively named the "Gyeongbuk Education Personnel Recruitment System," which will computerize and standardize the complex recruitment work at school support centers.
This new system is designed to support the recruitment of a wide range of personnel needed at schools-including contract teachers and temporary staff-on a single platform with one-click application support.
Previously, the recruitment process supported by school support centers was subdivided by job category, with different procedures, criteria, and required documents. As a result, staff had to repeatedly perform complex tasks, from preparing job postings and receiving applications to reviewing qualifications and organizing documents.
In addition, differences in recruitment methods and document formats among centers often led to confusion in the field.
To address these issues and reduce administrative workload, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education has been working to build an integrated recruitment system that reflects on-site needs and practical functions.
The core feature of the "Gyeongbuk Education Personnel Recruitment System" is the integration and standardization of all procedures, from viewing job postings and applying to screening and notifications.
By accessing the system, users can view all job postings-including those for contract teachers and temporary staff-at a glance. Job seekers can register, enter their resume and qualification information, and complete their online application with a single click.
Furthermore, by setting their preferred region, users can automatically receive text notifications about job postings in that area, greatly enhancing accessibility and convenience.
School support centers can process all steps-posting, application, screening, and notification-at once, simply by entering recruitment information into the system and following standardized procedures. This is expected to significantly reduce the time spent responding to recruitment inquiries and organizing paper documents. The unified document format will also make handovers much smoother.
An official from the Gyeongbuk Office of Education stated, "The Gyeongbuk Education Personnel Recruitment System is intended to integrate the complex recruitment procedures of school support centers into a single platform to reduce administrative work," adding, "After a one-month pilot run, we plan to begin full-scale operation in February 2026."
